Be a Caveman

I forgot that I drew these a few months ago so I thought since I was scanning stuff I would scan and then post these.
The top one is supposed to be Bette Davis in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? Her face is so crazy in that film it was challenging....
If you haven't seen it I would say to you "Stop looking at my blog and go watch that movie!!"

This one is John Ireland from the Fast and the Furious (1965). He's got an amazing face that was pretty fun to draw, there are some other dudes on that page but I have no idea who or where they are from. Maybe the same movie?

Just practicing, Monroe was sitting happily on my lap and then later on passed out on the couch.

Drew this sketch a few weeks ago and I finally got around to finishing this! I did the outline in photoshop and then took it into ArtRage and finished it off. Its a pretty fun little program...you should definitely try it.

Whatcha think? I tried to make it look like it was in a wide screen movie...y'know with those black bars. This is the first time I've ever been in an art show. I wanted to do a few more but I didn't have time. I also wanted to make it bigger. Next time I'll do up a bigger one now that I know that I am getting more confident with paints.

Annnnnyway, my scanner and photoshop decided that they aren't speaking with each other. That means I can't scan anything. So that means I can't post. Yep.

something other than a birthday card

Well folks it's been a busy month (that last one, April) what with taking a bit of my finger off and moving!
I also retired the pencil during this time. Tonight is the first time I've drawn in a while. I feel rusty but energetic. Maybe that was the cappucino though?
I want to draw more but life gets in the way. If only I didn't have to work.....ever.

This the only drawing I enjoyed from the coffee shop and also the only one I bothered to scan. It is of me, Janis, Meghan and Patty. Its epic. The End.

Drooling Baby
